An upper eyelid tuck (blepharoplasty) is an easy one-hour procedure done in our office under local anesthesia on an outpatient basis. Recovery time is usually just three to four days. Patients usually are able to go back to work within a week. A good camouflage makeup can help conceal any residual bruising.

Upper and lower blepharoplasty often are done together or at the same time as a forehead lift that lessens forehead wrinkles and creases. Together, these procedures raise drooping eyebrows, remove excess skin and reduce puffiness over and under the eyes, creating a refreshed, more alert look to the face.
